Two men charged with attempted murder in Inverness

Two men have been arrested and charged with attempted murder following an incident in the Balloan Road area of Inverness.

Police Scotland said it received a report of a disturbance at about 21:45 on Saturday.

A 19-year old man was taken to hospital with serious injuries. His condition was described as stable.

The two men, who are aged 19 and 24, were due to appear at Inverness Sheriff Court later.
