Appeal after driver dies in A44 crash

Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman in her sixties died in a two-car crash on the A44 near Woodstock.

Thames Valley Police said a black Vauxhall Astra and white Volkswagen Tiguan collided on the A44, near the junction with the A4095 early on Friday evening.

The woman was the sole occupant the Astra and died at the scene.

Two adults and two children in the Tiguan were taken to hospital with minor injuries and later discharged.

Police have appealed for any witnesses or with dashcam footage to contact them.
