Hotel which previously housed migrants goes on sale
A hotel which previously housed 150 migrants is set to reopen on a "limited service" until it is sold, according to an estate agent.
The Best Western Ipswich Hotel in Copdock, near Ipswich, has been placed on the market for £4m.
Listed by commercial real estates Colliers, "strong levels of interest" are expected.
The site also has planning consent for the development of nine residential detached homes on the site.
Josh Sullivan, from Colliers’ Hotels team, said: "During this sales process the owner intends to reopen the hotel on a limited service basis due to the demand for rooms in and around Ipswich."
Best Western has been approached for comment.
