Man dies after off-road motorbike and van crash

A man has died in hospital after a crash involving an off-road motorbike and a van in Derbyshire.

Officers were called to Stanton Gate, in Stanton by Dale, just after 15:45 BST on Tuesday.

Derbyshire Police said the rider of the motorbike, a man in his 30s, died in hospital after suffering serious injuries, while a passenger suffered a broken leg.

The driver of the van was not injured, the force added.

Officers have urged anyone who witnessed the crash or has dashcam footage to contact them.
