An urn containing ashes has been found at a bus station in West Yorkshire.

Officials said the item was discovered at Leeds bus station on Thursday by a security guard.

A spokesperson for the West Yorkshire Combined Authority said the urn was being "kept safe" at the bus station.

“We would urge the owner to speak to staff, or to contact Metro, so the object can be safely returned," they added.
