Gardaí complete search in missing Jo Jo Dullard case
Gardaí (Irish police) investigating the disappearance and murder of Josephine "Jo Jo” Dullard have completed their search in County Wicklow.
The 21-year-old went went missing from Moone in County Kildare in 1995.
The case was upgraded from a missing persons case to a murder inquiry in 2020.
Gardaí said they would not comment further on the searches for operational reasons but added that the Dullard family had been updated on the investigation.
For 29 years Ms Dullard’s disappearance has been the subject of a Garda investigation.
In November gardaí began to search Counties Wicklow and Kildare.
A 55-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder and was later released without charge.
Gardaí said the recent activity had “been of assistance to the investigation team”.
“An Garda Síochána acknowledges the significant response of the public to these recent appeals and events,” a spokesperson added.
They once again asked anyone with information to come forward.
