Man in court after body found in Ellon

A man has appeared in court after the death of a 36-year-old man in Aberdeenshire.
Martin Forgie - who was from Maud - was found at the property in Ellon's Gordon Place last Wednesday evening.
Steven Leask, 44, of Ellon, appeared at Aberdeen Sheriff Court charged with assault to severe injury and the danger of life.
He made no plea and was remanded in custody.

In an earlier statement Mr Forgie's family said: "Martin was a much-loved son, brother, father, nephew, grandson and uncle.
"He will be greatly missed."
