Seven activists arrested at air base blockade

Police have arrested seven members of an anti-nuclear activist group that staged a blockade outside a US air base.
About 250 people gathered outside RAF Lakenheath as part of peaceful protests against nuclear weapons at 12:00 BST on Saturday.
Suffolk Police arrested seven people on suspicion of causing an unlawful obstruction of the highway.
They were released on bail until Monday 2 June pending further inquiries.
The seven arrested were:
- Two men, aged 45 and 65 from London
- A 65-year-old man and a 61-year-old woman from Shropshire
- A 66-year-old woman from Midlothian
- Two women, aged 77 and 69, from Oxfordshire

The blockade, organised by Lakenheath Alliance for Peace, took place on the final day of a peace camp that had been in place outside RAF Lakenheath since 14 April.
Similar camps have previously been staged outside the base.
The group has asked that nuclear weapons not be returned to RAF Lakenheath, but the Ministry of Defence has previously said it would not confirm nor deny the presence of the weapons at any given location, in line with a long-standing UK and Nato policy.
