How and where to watch Liverpool's parade
Liverpool City CouncilHundreds of thousands of Liverpool fans from around the world will gather in the city this bank holiday weekend to celebrate the Reds winning their second Premier League title.
Monday's open-top bus parade will come less than 24 hours after the new champions lift the trophy at Anfield following their final game of the season against Crystal Palace.
The Reds secured their 20th top-flight league crown back on 27 April when they demolished Tottenham.
It's a hugely busy few days for Liverpool, with Sefton Park continuing to host the BBC Radio 1 Big Weekend festival, which began on Friday and will come to a close late on Sunday.
Here is your guide to what is bound to be a memorable weekend, especially if you are a Red!
How can I watch the parade?
If you cannot physically be in Liverpool on Bank Holiday Monday, you will be able to watch a live stream on the BBC News website.
We will also be providing live updates throughout the day to capture the party atmosphere.
What time does it start?
The open-top bus parade is scheduled to start at 14:30 BST on Monday from Allerton Maze.
It will then follow a 10-mile (15km) route towards Blundell Street in the city centre.
Liverpool FC reckons the journey could take anything from three to five hours.
Liverpool City Council has encouraged anyone who wants to watch the parade in-person to carefully plan their journeys to and from the route.
What are the best viewing points?
The route is purposefully long enough to allow as many people as possible to see the procession.
