Evening ferry sailings cancelled due to gales
Evening sailings of ferries between the Isle of Man and Lancashire have been cancelled due to strong winds over the Irish Sea.
The Isle of Man Steam Packet has scrapped the Manxman's 19:45 GMT sailing to Heysham Port as well as the 02:15 overnight return.
Sailings are expected to resume on Wednesday morning with the 08:45 crossing to the Lancashire port.
A yellow weather warning is in place until 03:00 on Wednesday for coastal overtopping as amid strong to gale force winds.
Areas on the island that are "at risk" include Shore Road, Castletown promenade and the north of Douglas promenade.
