Wednesday's episode of the show saw a faithful murdered face-to-face for the first time.
Fozia, from Birmingham, was eliminated during a card game called Deathmatch, played with three other contestants.
Speaking on BBC Morning Live, she said: "I just felt like I needed one more day."
After Alexander, Anna and Leon survived their rounds, the two cloaked traitors, Minah and Linda, revealed themselves before handing Fozia a letter to say she was murdered.
"Linda, I knew it was you," Fozia said. "You're not going to last. Linda, get a good night's sleep tonight because you're going next."
"Get over it," a cloaked Linda retorted.
The action-packed episode later saw Linda banished by fellow players after receiving seven votes at a round-table.
She told them afterwards the experience had been "the pinnacle" of her life.
"I've had a whale of a time, so thanks for it," she said.
Minah was then instructed to offer a player the ultimatum to either become a traitor or be murdered.
She chose Charlotte to recruit, but the episode ended on a cliffhanger before her response.
Fozia returned in episode four after choosing to leave a train on its way to the castle on day one.
She told the BBC she had hoped to stay on longer "just to get that satisfaction of saying: 'It's Linda, we need to get her out'".
Fozia said if she had been present in earlier episodes Linda would not have survived as long, claiming: "She would never have lasted that long on my watch."
During the show, Fozia was praised by viewers for her forthright approach, including speaking up for former contestant Kasim when he was repeatedly targeted by other players.
Anthony Mathurin, who took part in the last series of The Traitors described Fozia to as an amazing contestant and "pocket rocket".
"We would have loved to seen so much more of her," he added. "I think she would have made a fabulous traitor."
