Man arrested following supermarket assault

A man has been arrested after a woman was injured in an assault at a Surrey supermarket.

The attack happened on Friday in the car park of Sainsbury's on Water Lane, Farnham, Surrey Police said.

The woman sustained "ABH-level injuries", a police spokesperson said.

They said: "A man in his 60s has been arrested on suspicion of causing actual bodily harm and remains in police custody."

Police are asking for anyone who witnessed the incident, or who has CCTV or dashcam footage to contact them.
