Woman killed in A30 crash named by police

A woman who died in a car crash on the A30 near Launceston, in Cornwall, has been named.

Geraldine Gibson, 79, from Launceston was involved in the two-car crash at about 12:40 BST on Sunday at the junction with the Plusha services, Devon and Cornwall Police said.

The driver of the other car was treated in hospital for injuries that were not life-changing, the force added.

Police have asked any witnesses to the crash to come forward.
