Woman arrested after GP surgery forced to shut

A woman has been arrested by police for causing a nuisance on NHS premises, forcing a GP surgery to shut.
The Medical Centre, in High Street, Eye, was temporarily closed on Wednesday due to "a security risk posed to practice staff".
Jenna Healthcare, which runs the surgery, said it had relocated its staff to the Thorney surgery, just over four miles away, which is part of the same practice.
Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Integrated Care System said the surgery will reopen once work has been undertaken on site to increase security for staff.
A spokesperson for Cambridgeshire police said: "Last week we were contacted on two occasions (10 and 12 March) by staff at Laurel Farm Medical Centre in Eye, reporting concerning behaviour by a member of the public.
"A 41-year-old woman from Eye was arrested in connection with the reports on Thursday (13 March).
"She has since been charged with two counts of causing a nuisance on NHS premises and being in possession of cannabis.
"She was released from police custody with strict bail conditions and is due to appear at Peterborough Magistrates Court on 11 April."
A spokesperson for Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Integrated Care System said: "Due to a security risk posed to practice staff last week, Jenner Healthcare has had to temporarily close its Eye practice branch location.
"Staff have been temporarily relocated to the Thorney practice, with all telephone calls being redirected here.
"We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. We'd like to reassure patients that the practice team is working as quickly as possible to reopen Eye practice."
The surgery said patients with booked appointments would be contacted.
Jenna Healthcare said on its website: "We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause, please rest assured we are working as quickly as possible to reopen the practice, working alongside the local commissioning body and local police force."
