Parts of Scotland have experienced heavy snow and freezing temperatures since the start of the week.

Schools in Shetland, the Highlands and Aberdeenshire have been affected, and the temperature at Kinbrace in Sutherland plunged to below -15C on the coldest night of the year so far.
