Police appeal after cyclist found dead near Nairn

Police are appealing for information following the death of a cyclist near Nairn.

The 66-year-old man was found unresponsive at about 15.20 on Monday next to his bike in the Lethen area.

Emergency services attended on part of a road known locally as Raspberry Hill, however, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said they did not believe any other vehicles were involved, but have appealed to anyone with information to get in touch.
