Man, 67, charged after sex assault on schoolgirl

A 67-year-old man has been arrested and charged after a girl aged 15 was sexually assaulted in West Dunbartonshire.

Police previously said the girl had been touched inappropriately by a man who approached her at a bus stop in Clydebank.

The incident took place on Faifley Road, near the junctions with Langfaulds Crescent and Langside Street, at about 21:00 on 7 December.

Police Scotland confirmed the arrested man was now the subject of a report to the procurator fiscal.
