Some £212.14 worth of chocolate was returned to the store in Huntingdon

Two women have been arrested on suspicion of stealing hundreds of pounds worth of chocolate.

The pair were spotted by an off-duty police officer in an Aldi supermarket in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, on Friday, allegedly concealing the treats in their jackets.

Chocolate worth £212.14 was returned to the store.

On Cambridgeshire Police's Policing Huntingdonshire Facebook page, the force quipped it was not a "sweet ending".
