Two more arrests after officer injured on road

Two more men have been arrested after a police officer was left with life-threatening injuries.
Thames Valley Police said the officer, who was on duty, was injured following a road traffic incident on the B416 Bells Hill, in Stoke Poges, Buckinghamshire, at 22:20 BST on Thursday.
A 38-year-old man from Slough, in Berkshire, had already been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
A 28-year-old from Slough has now been arrested on suspicion of the same offences, while a 43-year-old has been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and perverting the course of justice.
The force said the three remained in police custody and its investigation was ongoing.
The B416 Bells Hill was closed in both directions between Decies Way and Rogers Lane, affecting access to the Banana Moon Day Nursery.
Thames Valley said "the injured officer's loved ones and colleagues are being supported at this extremely difficult time".
