Arrest as police board plane at Manchester Airport

A passenger on a flight from Egypt has been arrested after officers boarded the plane when it landed in the UK earlier.
Detectives made the arrest at Manchester Airport in the early hours the morning, Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said.
The passenger was arrested on suspicion of being involved in a conspiracy to produce and supply a class B drug.
Police said the arrest was part of Operation Challenger, a programme set up to "dismantle" organised criminal gangs.
"Whether you're at home or on a flight, if you deal drugs in Manchester we will come for you," GMP said.
