Two teenage boys have been charged with criminal damage after a tyre was thrown at a moving vehicle and smashed the windscreen.

Norfolk Police said they were called to attend the incident in Costessey, Norwich, on Sunday at about 22:40 BST.

Officers arrested two boys on Monday and they are next expected to attend Norwich Youth Court on 16 September.

Both have been released on bail, on the condition they abide by a curfew, do not enter the Hampdens housing estate off Dereham Road, and do not to contact one another.
