Nursery makes significant improvements - Ofsted

A Telford day nursery has been rated "good" by Ofsted inspectors, having shown "significant improvement" after a previous inspection raised concerns over safety and teaching.
Kids Planet Day Nursery Apley cares for more than 140 babies and young children.
An inspection in May 2024 saw it rated as "requires improvement".
However, in an Ofsted report published on Monday, the nursery, in the grounds of Princess Royal Hospital, was praised as providing a "warm, welcoming and inclusive environment".
"Children arrive full of excitement and enthusiasm. Babies are happy and content," the report said.
"Staff are good role models who have high expectations for children's behaviour."
The report added that leaders had made "significant improvement" since the last inspection and "parents are extremely happy with the nursery".
Ofsted also said safeguarding arrangements were "effective" and there was an "open and positive culture around safeguarding that puts children's interests first".
To further improve, the inspectors told leaders they should help staff with the planning and implementation of the curriculum, and provide staff with "precisely focused professional development".
The Local Democracy Reporting Service has asked Kids Planet for comment.
On its Facebook page, the nursery said it was "delighted" with the latest finding and thanked parents and carers for their support.
