Murder charge after 'kind' former nurse found dead

A man has been charged with murder after a "kind, caring and bubbly" woman was found dead at a house.
Christina Alexander, 60, was found when police were called to a property on Ascot Drive in Dosthill, Tamworth, shortly after 01:30 BST on Monday.
Robert Alexander, 65, of Ascot Drive, Dosthill, was due to appear at Coventry Magistrates Court on Thursday accused of her murder.
In a tribute to their eldest sister, Ms Alexander's siblings said she always looked after them and was there for them "anytime, day or night".
"Tina was kind, caring, bubbly, with a great sense of humour. She was looking forward to enjoying the rest of her life after retiring as a nurse, a profession that she was immensely proud of," they said.
"We love you big sis, you're always in our hearts. God bless."
