More arrests in 'drive-by shooting' investigation

Four people were arrested by police investigating a "drive-by shooting" near Watford

Four people have been arrested in connection with a suspected "drive-by shooting" which left a man critically injured.

The victim, who was in his 20s, was shot while riding an e-bike on the A41 in Watford on 25 July, police said.

Hertfordshire Police arrested a 20-year-old man on suspicion of attempted murder and a 38-year-old woman was arrested of assisting an offender. Both have been held in custody since their arrest on Wednesday.

Two more women, aged 23 and 24, have been arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice.

Police said the victim was being treated in hospital for "life-threatening injuries".

Officers are still investigating a separate shooting which took place in Kings Langley on Tuesday morning.
