Man, 44, charged after death at house in Aberdeenshire

A 44-year-old man has been charged after the death of a 36-year-old man at a house in Ellon, Aberdeenshire.
Police Scotland said it was made aware of the death of Martin Forgie at the property in Gordon Place at about 20:35 on Wednesday.
The force said the family of Mr Forgie - who was from Maud, Aberdeenshire - was being supported by specialist officers and a post mortem examination would be carried out.
The man who was arrested and charged is due to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Monday.

In a statement Mr Forgie's family said: "Martin was a much loved son, brother, father, nephew, grandson and uncle. He will be greatly missed."
Det Insp Rory Campbell said: "Our thoughts remain with Mr Forgie's family and friends at this extremely difficult time.
"Officers will remain in the area while inquiries are carried out."
