One person taken to hospital after A14 crash

One person has been taken to hospital following a collision at a junction on the A14 which closed the road in both directions.
Suffolk Police was called to reports of a crash between a car and lorry on a slip road at junction 55 for Copdock/Ipswich at about 13:43 GMT.
A spokesperson for the force said they were called to the scene by the ambulance service, and one person was taken to hospital.
The westbound exit slip remained closed while the vehicles were recovered, and the road had reopened in both directions by mid-afternoon.
