Man and woman in hospital after crash on A1

Two people have been taken to hospital after a three-vehicle crash in the Scottish Borders.

The accident happened on the A1 southbound near Grantshouse at about 15:40 on Monday.

Police said emergency services had been called out and a man and a woman were taken to hospital.

The road was shut for investigation work and inquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.
