Fatal house blaze was 'accidental' - fire service
A fire at a house in Sheffield in which a man died was an accident, South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service has confirmed.
The man, who was in his 50s, was found dead on the first floor of an address on Elstree Road at about 08:00 BST on Monday.
The fire service said firefighters from Birley Moor and Central fire stations extinguished a blaze on the ground floor before the man was discovered.
A spokesperson added: “An investigation into the cause of the fire found it was started accidently."
