Man arrested after three young people assaulted

A man has been arrested for assault after an incident involving a group of young people at the bus station in St Helier.
The States of Jersey Police said the altercation took place at 20:50 BST on Wednesday in the area of the Liberation bus station.
Officers said a man approached a group of six young men who had got off a bus and grabbed one of them by the wrists and punched him in the face before going on to assault two others.
Police have asked anyone with information to come forward.
They said the man, aged about 30, had initially approached the group "using inappropriate language and conduct towards them" and had displayed "erratic and concerning behaviours".
Police said the man was white with short brown hair and he had been wearing wearing a dark blue t-shirt, turquoise shorts and black trainers.
He was arrested for common assault against juveniles and inappropriate behaviour towards juveniles, they added.
