Manx Covid and flu jab walk-in clinics to begin
Walk-in sessions for vulnerable people to receive Covid booster vaccinations and flu jabs are set to be made available across the Isle of Man.
Manx Care said anyone over 65, people under that age in clinical risk groups, including pregnant women, and care home residents would be offered both jabs.
The first session will be held at the Noble's vaccination hub, at Noble's Hospital in Douglas between 10:00 and 14:00 GMT.
Further clinics have also been scheduled to take place around the island in Peel, Ramsey and Castletown in the last week of January.
The jabs will be offered in the south at the the Morton Hall in Castletown on 24 January, at St Paul's Church Hall in Ramsey on 29 January, and at St Patrick's Court care home in Peel the following day.
Those aged between 18 and 64 who live with an immunosuppressed individual and residents who are the main carer of an older adult or a disabled person are also eligible to receive a flu vaccine at the sessions.
Manx Care said those who would prefer to book an appointment in advance could still do so by contacting the vaccination team.
The health care body has requested that frontline health and social care workers who would like to receive the jabs contact the team to arrange an appointment.
