Two people have been arrested in connection with a series of church burglaries.

The break-ins took place between March and June this year, mostly in rural areas in Northamptonshire.

Police said the incidents took place in Grendon, Spratton, Brackley, and Guilsborough with churches broken into and items stolen.

A 33-year-old man and a 29-year-old woman have been arrested and bailed.
