Police arrest lorry driver after collision with motorcyclist

A lorry driver has been arrested on suspicion of driving with excess drugs and alcohol after a crash involving a HGV and a motorcycle.

Norfolk Constabulary said it was called to a collision on Porter’s Lane in Great Witchingham, near Lenwade, at about 16:15 BST on Tuesday.

A motorcyclist was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital with serious injuries and later transferred to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge for treatment, the force added.

Police said it wanted anyone who witnessed the crash or had relevant dash cam footage to get in touch.
