Migrants brought to Dover after coastguard rescue

The coastguard has been leading a response to small boat "activity" in the English Channel.
A spokesperson for the Maritime and Coastguard Agency confirmed that UK Border Force boats were used to bring people into Dover on Thursday afternoon.
At roughly 13:45 BST, the spokesperson said: "HM Coastguard is coordinating the response to reports of small boat activity in the English Channel today.
"UK Border Force vessels have been sent and people recovered to Dover."
Home Office figures show there were no small boat crossings on Wednesday.
However, 705 people crossed the Channel on Tuesday - the highest number in a single day so far this year.
It comes as the government confirmed this week it was in talks with France over a scheme to return illegal migrants who have crossed the Channel.
Under the agreement, the UK would accept legal migrants seeking family reunion in the UK.
