Two men have been charged in connection with the production of cannabis worth more than £1.3m.
Hertfordshire Police found the drugs at an industrial unit near Hertford on Monday.
The men, aged 22 and 27, were arrested at the scene.
Sgt Chris Armstrong said: "Cannabis factories in particular pose significant risk to those living close by, as criminals often seek to access free electricity."
The men appeared at Hatfield Remand Court on Tuesday, where they were remanded in custody ahead of their next court appearance.
