Cycle group set for pedal tour of potholes

A cycling group in Cheshire have organised a bike ride to help report potholes to the council.
The Nantwich Cycle Group will be reporting potholes they find along the ride, in Taporley, on Saturday.
The group will meet at The Crown Hotel at 09:00 BST before embarking on their journey to a "pothole-free cycle route".
Cyclists said they hope to put pressure on Cheshire East Council so the roads are safer to ride on.
A post on the group's social media channel encouraged residents to attend.
It said: "The more of us that can get involved in reporting the easier it will be to achieve this so please can you give up some of your time to get involved.
"I know it's a pain and we all have better things to do with our time but think of it having our important and quite local cycling roads getting repaired."
The post said while the some of the route has already been resurfaced, the group hopes it will "put pressure on Cheshire East for it to be even better".
