A barber who has cut hair under the London Eye and Eiffel Tower has now had a client in his chair at the top of the highest mountain in Wales.

Jonathan Bradley scaled Yr Wyddfa, also known as Snowdon, with his 23kg (50.7lb) barber chair strapped to his back.

It was second time lucky for the barber, from Braintree in Essex, who had to turn around while climbing the mountain in August because of bad weather.

It was a fundraiser for Tofs, a charity providing lifelong support for people who are born unable to swallow.

"The weather wasn't as bad as before, but it was pretty bad," said Mr Bradley, 30. "It was wet and windy."

He was joined by about 15 people, including his brothers and clients who had become friends, who were keen to receive a haircut with a view.

But after one haircut - which included the shape of a mountain being shaved into the back of someone's hair - the team turned around because of the wet weather.

"I found the climb a lot harder than the haircut," admitted Mr Bradley.

Jonathan Bradley has previously taken his barber's chair to landmarks, like the London Eye

He took his chair to Paris for the final week of the Olympics, where he cut hair under the Eiffel Tower, and he also once spent a day roaming the streets of London with the kit.

The fundraiser was inspired by his best friend's daughter, who was born with a condition that means she is unable to swallow.
