Two public events will ask for residents' views on the design of a healthcare facility redevelopment in Surrey.

Plans for the Weybridge Health Campus are due to be officially submitted in November.

The community hospital that previously occupied the site was destroyed by a fire in 2017.

A public event, held by NHS Property Services and supported by North West Surrey Health and Care Alliance, took place at St James' Church Hall in Weybridge on Friday, with another session planned for Saturday from 09:30 BST to 14:30.

Surrey Heartlands Health and Care Partnership said: "We encourage as many local people as possible to attend as your views are important."

The proposed development includes a fit-for-purpose building that will accommodate The Phoenix Family Practice and other health services.

Public events on the plans were also held in May 2022 and January 2023, from which feedback was considered for the revised proposals for the scheme.
