Staff say the cat, named Pasha, had become "quite famous" at the studio

A missing cat has been making a name for himself at the famous television studios where Strictly Come Dancing is filmed.

Staff at Elstree Studios in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire, said Pasha - who had been missing four weeks - was found living the high life among set builds for a "high profile production" which will feature Hollywood A-listers.

In a post on Facebook, the studio said the wandering moggie, whose owner lived 20 miles (32 km) away in Stevenage, was caught following a "72-hour game of hide and seek".

"Our wonderful colleagues, Hannah and Garry, ensured he made it to the local vets, where he was soon reunited with his owner," the post read.

Pasha was found at Platinum Stage 3 - where scenes from the blockbuster movie Wicked had been filmed just months earlier.

Strictly Come Dancing, Pointless and The Crown are among other TV shows filmed at the site.

Pasha's now feline fine after he was finally reunited with his overjoyed owner.

The spokesperson added: "I understand it was a very tearful moment when they finally reunited after a month."

It remained unclear how Pasha travelled to Elstree - although it was thought his owner ran a shop nearby.
