Firefighters have rescued a dog following a fire at a listed property in Tettenhall, Wolverhampton.

They were called to the house on Upper Green shortly before midday on Sunday.

Nobody was hurt in the kitchen fire, and it was out within twenty minutes, West Midlands Fire Service (WMFS) said.

Tettenhall Fire Station is close to the property, and crews had arrived within a few minutes, the service added.
