Celebrity judge to decide town's best window
A celebrity interior designer will judge the windows of more than two dozen market town shops to help raise money for a local school.
Tetbury Music Festival, running from 23 September to 6 October, has announced its Best Dressed Window competition.
Cotswold resident and Changing Rooms TV star Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen will judge the windows, designed to reflect an aspect of the festival, on 26 September.
The festival hopes to raise "much-needed funds" to enhance St Mary's Primary School's music lessons.
The window dressing competition, spearheaded by music festival director, Caz Weller Knight, aims to increase footfall in Tetbury and celebrate the "wonderful music-making on offer".
This year's festival highlights include guitarist Craig Ogden and pianist Imogen Cooper among others, who will perform alongside a series of lectures and interviews.
Ms Weller Knight said: "This competition is a wonderful opportunity for the community to come together, support our local businesses, and celebrate the rich musical heritage of Tetbury.
"We are especially pleased to contribute to St Mary's Primary School's music programme, fostering the next generation of musical talent."
