'Targeted' acid attack sparks police manhunt

A man has been seriously injured in an acid attack in Plymouth, police have said.
Devon and Cornwall Police said officers went to a property on Lipson Road at about 03:55 GMT on Friday after they received reports that two people had forced their way in and assaulted the occupant.
Police said it had been confirmed that acid was used during the attack and the victim was taken to hospital.
The incident was being treated as a "targeted attack" and searches for the two suspects were under way, a police spokesperson said.
