Man charged with murder after fatal stabbing

A man has been charged with murder following the fatal stabbing of a 63-year-old father.
Bedfordshire Police was called to reports of an attack at Highbury Road, Luton, at about 23:05 GMT on Wednesday, 8 January.
Martin Sullivan was taken to hospital but was pronounced dead shortly afterwards.
Abul Kasim, 25, of Perrysfield Road in Cheshunt, Hertfordshire, has been charged with his murder and has been remanded into custody ahead of an appearance at Luton Crown Court on Thursday.

Mr Sullivan's daughter paid tribute to her father in a statement issued via police.
"My dad was a very loving and caring person who would help anyone," she said.
"He will be very much missed by all his friends and family.
"He'll never be forgotten."
