Man charged a year after woman's death in motorbike crash

A 21-year-old man has been charged with a road traffic offence more than a year after a motorcyclist died in a crash in West Lothian.

Mother-of-two Natalie Hawkins died at the scene on the A89 between Armadale and Westrigg on 11 August 2023.

The driver of a Toyota Celica involved in the crash was arrested at the time and later released after being taken to hospital as a precaution.

The man has been charged with a road traffic offence and is due to appear in court at a later date.
