The application proposed 35 new homes to be built on the former site of Codsall Day Services

Plans have been submitted to build 35 homes on the site of a former adult training centre.

The redevelopment is proposed for land off Histons Hill in Codsall, Staffordshire.

The application, which involves demolishing the existing building, previously home to Codsall Day Services, has been submitted to South Staffordshire District Council.

Eleven properties are earmarked for affordable housing, with six of them intended as rented homes.

The bid follows an earlier application seeking permission for the demolition. A separate application to build 29 homes has had no decision.
