A woman has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving following a crash at a petrol station.

Fiona Phippen, 44, is also accused of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.

Lincolnshire Police previously said a Nissan had collided with a Mercedes at a garage near Foston on the A1 on 29 June 2024.

A 20-year-old woman who was standing by the Mercedes died from her injuries the following day and an 83-year-old woman who was a passenger in the same car was seriously injured, the force added.

Ms Phippen, of Church Close, Great Wilbraham in Cambridgeshire, has been bailed and is due to appear at Lincoln Magistrates' Court on 24 July.
