Cyclist in critical condition after crash

A cyclist is in a critical condition after a crash in Worcestershire.

The man was injured after suffering a medical episode and falling from his bike on Church Road in Crowle at about 06:30 GMT on Friday.

West Midlands Ambulance Service said paramedics gave him advanced trauma care before he was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham.

A spokesperson for West Mercia Police confirmed that the road remained closed.
