A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital after suffering a serious injury in a crash with a 4x4 in Derby, police say.
Derbyshire Police said it was called to Mansfield Road, near Rollerworld, at 11:24 GMT on Friday, when the motorbike involved was thought to have "slid on oil or some substance on the road" before colliding with the Vauxhall car.
A spokesperson for the force added: "The rider of the bike has got a fairly serious injury that does not look to be life-threatening."
The road is closed with highways officers expected to attend the scene, the force added.
