Suspect wanted after man stabbed in York

Police are searching for a 25-year-old man after another man was stabbed in the leg in York.

The incident happened at an address on Cornlands Road in the city at around 12:00 GMT on Saturday and the victim is currently being treated in hospital.

Officers have asked for help in locating Brandon Oliver, who they said they believed was still in York.

The force said people were "strongly advised" not to approach him though it was "not aware of any threats to the wider public".

He is described as white, with a bald head, stubble facial hair and of medium build.

He was last seen wearing a grey tracksuit and black trainers.
