Teenager seriously hurt in knife attack

A teenager is in hospital with serious injuries following a town-centre altercation involving knives.
It happened between 16:45 and 17:30 GMT on Sunday at the junction of Weedon Road and Spencer Bridge Road, Northampton.
The boy was hit with a weapon and fell to the ground.
He managed to walk towards Sandhills Road and was found collapsed at the entrance to the car park at Franklin Point. He was airlifted to hospital.
