Tributes have been paid to a "beloved" man who died following a crash.

Carl Hind, 50, died after a two-vehicle crash on the A69 at Haltwhistle, Northumberland.

His family said his tragic death had left a "deep void" in the lives of many.

Northumbria Police are investigating the circumstances of the crash, which happened just before 00:00 BST on 5 May.

In a tribute, the family of Mr Hind, who was from the Stocksfield area, said he was a "beloved partner, father, son, brother, uncle and friend".

They said: "He will be profoundly missed by all who knew him."

Police said the fatal crash took place between the B6322 and Melkridge.
